Thank you for all of your november color suggestions! Is it appropriate to have the bm wear black dresses for a sunday afternoon affair? I think that I want them to wear that color and then have autumn color flowers. What does everyone think???

Re: Black dresses for a sunday wedding????
Sure why not... it is your wedding bottom line
I am having my BM wear black and it is in April but that is what I like.

Re: Black dresses for a sunday wedding????
My sister's wedding was a Sunday afternoon in June and we wore black. We had colorful flowers and it looked really nice. I say if that's the color you want, then there is no reason not to go with it!

I think that black is appropriate for any time of the year or the week.
I am most likely having a Sunday afternoon wedding and I definately want the BM dresses to be black with some white trim or something like that.

I think black would be very nice in November (or any time - black is alwyas ok in my book) and with the fall flower colors it will be very pretty.
My BMs are wearing black for my saturday afternoon wedding in October.

Re: Black dresses for a sunday wedding????
I am going to go against the tide and say that I think black is a bit too formal for an afternoon wedding. I feel that black dresses in very bright afternoon light looks too harsh.
Chocolate brown, navy blue, dark green or burgundy are all nice fall colors but wouldn't be as harsh or as formal for the afternoon.
