I know this is a very traditional thought BUT how do you all feel about tea length BLACK dresses for a summer wedding? There will be a Fuchsia sash on it that is totally sick and POPS. Is it an 'old school' thought that you cant wear black in summer? I know Ive seen it and the pics are absolutely stunning I guess I just wanted so more opinions.
My fear is that the black and fuchsia is such a gorgeous dramatic pop that it wont compliment my more delicate dress. UGHH Im soooo confused about BM dresses! Im torn between polar opposites! Black with Fuchsia OR a lighter summery color...

I'm getting married in June my mom is in black my sister in black FSIN in black and my weddign is black tie so there most people will be in black.

I love black dresses for BMs, the dresses I picked for my girls are black. My BM is getting married in July and she picked black dresses for the girls to wear! It is a little out of summer character, but it's your wedding and you should pick what you like!!!

My girls were in black and white and i was married June 28th. The bright flowers made the black pop so it looked awsm!!

i just replied to your other post but i am going to do black knee length summer dresses with the flowers to brighten it up. black always looks good and your girls can always wear a black dress again. also my wedding is July,23

Yea the pics of a black and white wedding with bright flowers are SICK... Its so modern and chic...
I guess I just need to think if thats what I envision for my day... More modern chic or more summery romantic type of thing...

Black is a really flattering color that never goes out of style & will be used again. The sash on the dress will just make the summer colors pop. I think it'll look nice, especailly being tea length!
