Black Forest Bakery

I have booked my wedding at a Lessings location and the bakery they use is Black Forest Bakery. Does anyone know anything about this bakery? I looked over the album of different cakes that are included in my package and they are beautiful, but what does it taste like. So many people complain about bad cake!

Black Forest is Awesome, My aunt lives in Babylon and they get Black Forest cakes for every occasion. They are always fresh and yummy!

Black Forest is right down the way from me... they are pretty good and it seems as if a lot of catering halls use them... We are getting married at larkfield manor and they use black forest as well.

The Black Forest Bakery is one of the bakeries that our catering hall is offering to us as an option for our cake. I don't have any personal experience with them yet, but I've heard some mixed reviews about ladies that have used them via their catering hall. However I haven't heard anything from someone who used them directly.

I live two blocks away and have gone there since probably I was born with my parents. I really do adore them and we buy there for every occasion. The only negative is try to get the owner to discuss the cake with you if at all possible. I go in a place a order for a cake and they have given me something a little bit wrong and not the same thing i put in my description. NOW this is for a b-day cake not a wedding cake. I am sure they are more on top for things such as that.

TASTE is really great.

I have heard their cakes are great. My wedding is 4-28 and we are using black forest, and WSCC.

Amazing. I HATE bakery cakes. DH and I wanted a Krispy Kreme cake for our wedding but couldn't justify spending money when our cake was included. We got yellow cake with cookies and cream mousse. AMAZING. My friend got my bridal shower cake from there as well and i was looking for seconds. You have nothing to worry about!!

I agree, I used to work in Lindenhurst and get the birthday cakes there all the time, they are sooo good :) Good luck

I got a cake from them for my birthday this past year, the cake was HUGE and really really tasty.

Our DOC recommended them as a bakery for us.. she said they are the best.

I'm also getting maried at WSCC and tried their cake at the bridal showcase. It was delicious.

I have grown up in LIndenhurst where they are located and my family uses them for every occasion. Their cakes are very good! You would have nothing to worry about!
