Black Forest/ Chateau La Mer Rumor and What's Really Going On UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Debi spoke to Nick at CLM, today. He said, ' The owner of Black Forest Bakery said he was too busy to make wedding cakes for catering halls.'
Note: Debi had spoken to Ann at Black Forest and she is in charge of the wedding cakes. Ann had no knowledge they were no longer doing the wedding cakes. Ann told Debi she could still get her wedding cake there for her June wedding, if CLM agreed to pay for it. Nick told Debi that CLM would be willing to pay Black Forest for Debi's cake. According to Nick, CLM has always worked with Campbells and Black Forest, but now will only be working with Campbells. Each Bride should check in with Nick and Black Forest on their cake . Mary MOB

You're telling me!!! I suggested to Debi to get it in writing from Nick, that CLM will pay for a Black Forest Cake, when she goes for the tasting tomorrow night. Mary MOB

I asked Meghan from Riviera about this and she said BF was steering away from wedding cakes, too

My ex says he never heard it either and he's been getting all of his wedding cakes, sheet cakes and pastries with BF for like 12 years. Who knows....I'll get my cake from Tommy regardless, I've known them forever.

I just think it's odd that CLM and Riviera said the same thing.

im talking to them right now and they always used both bakers

and its still a good relationship with black forest but they are just too busy

the whole thing about it being cheaper george ( owner of CLM) said is just not true

they always use 2 because if one can not pull through for some reason they need the other one..its just good business..i am talking to him on the phone while i am typing this and he said to clear this whole thing up

he said that every thing they use they have two of ( butcher, vegetables, pastries..etc..)

there is nothing to worry about ladies..promise..would CLM really screw us over..NO WAY!!!!!!

I think this is a huge misunderstanding. Debi likes both vendors, but has just heard conflicting things, that need to be cleared up, and everyone, Nick, Lou, George, Ann, and the owner of Black Forest, needs to be on the same page, and let Brides know what's going on. Understandably, Brides are frustrated, because the cake is a very important part of their wedding day. Mary MOB
