I decided to grow my relaxer out a year ago and a majority of my hair is natural, so my hair has to be pressed or flat ironed to get straight.
If I do an updo it will be too hard to keep tamed without putting a lot of gunk on it, and I dont want that. Want to be free for Honeymoon
I also just cut a majority of the relaxer off so now my hair is just to the nape of my neck. I wanted a style that was all down or half up and half down, but soft and flowy.
Please help. My dress is attached and I will wear a tiara and veil with blusher.
I am also growign out my relaxer - My hair dresser is going to do a light touch up on the edges of my hair and braid up the rest to sew in the hair for my style.

I would suggest a sew in as well.

Which stylist (and makeup artist) are you all planning on using? I'd like to use someone that is very familiar with black hair, skin, and features..

Wow! She did a really good job! Does she travel to your house to do hair and makeup? Did you get a sew-in before you went to her and have her style it?

She comes to ur house the morning of and does trials out of Bethpage. My hair was acutally pinned in with hair clips. It was not going anywhere and I can take it out as soon as I reach the hotel!

Wow...your hair looked beautiful! She pinned the hair in herself? And you said it was secure? I'm really impressed! Does she do airbrush make-up and does she apply false eyelashes? I'm sorry for all of the questions, but I think she did a great job, you can tell she knows how to work with our people's hair and do our make-up right

I am not sure that I can really help but I just wanted to say that your dress is gorgeous. My sister has her hair natural and is my MOH. She is doing twists... they are very thin and are like sister locks... really thin dreads.. you can have them done really thin and then do an updo. You can even put natural hair extensions on them.... they come out kind of curly on the end.. Also try chocolatebrides.com and ebony bridal planner for ideas.

She is AA and is a preferred vendor on this site. She does all skin tones which I love! She does do airbrush which I had and she does do lashes. Tons of people on here use her so I am sure she is in other albums. Give her a call.
