What do you think of a black stretch limo for me to arrive in? We are really not making a big deal for limos because we are not using them in pictures and I am arriving and leaving WAY before and after the guests do. So we could get a realllly nice black stretch for a good deal. I'm just not sure if I should be superstitous ( sp?) about it being black. What do you think?

I wouldn't do it, but that is just me. You may not plan for the limo to be in any pictures, but it may end up in some.

I would. Save the $$$. If no one is going to see you in it, and your just using it for pick up and drop off, who cares.
JMHO,, but I'm not really into superstitions.

JMO....A black Limo does not signify happy times for me anytime I was in a black limo I was headed to a funeral for someone close to me. When i see black limos I say these people are coming from a funeral.....I just would not use a black limo not so much superstitions but moreso what it represents

Same here. I used a black limo for prom way back when, saved some $$ and still had a great time. And I'll be taking one to the airport for my honeymoon. They dont really signify anything for me.

Re: Black limo?
FYI-- FI and his GMs and his fam are arriving in black stretch limo. I'll be arriving in a hummer. We're doing pickup/dropoff and it was affordable to do black stretch limo and it wasn't our priority to go in a white car or not.
It is really up to you

Re: Black limo?
I don't think it matters what color the limo is... it's the person inside is what counts and your feelings for your fh and on that day...

Re: Black limo?
BTW, I said I wouldn't do a black limo, not because it may be supersticious, but because black limos are often used for funerals and a wedding is supposed to be a joyous occasion. But again, it's your day- do what you want.

Re: Black limo?
I would go for it if you want to, but if nobody is going to see it then maybe you could use that money and splurge on something else that people will be able to enjoy, JMO.

Re: Black limo?
FH and father have a limo business, so we are using their stretch white limo for the two of us, and two black limos for the bridal party. I don't see anything wrong with using a black one for the two of you though.

Re: Black limo?
save the money, do black. No one is going to see you anyway and I'm sure any little bit of money saved it worth it!
