black or nude stockings

Friday night wedding - black dress, falls just below the knee, black slingback shoes - black or nude / natural colored stockings?

ETA - the ewdding is tomorow

dubliner - I would wear black.

Erica - how long is the skirt? - I think yours would go either way if it is mid-calf or longer...is it a wedding too?

just a little longer than midcalf...

and yes for an evening wedding..

AND I am handing out programs and rose pedals!!!! so there will be a lot of attention on me...

I honestly believe there is never a reason to wear nude stockings (I hate them, in case you couldn't tell) BLACK!

ETA: instead of nude I wear very sheer off white, or bone.

I have heard that tall women can get away with nude...since it won't break up their legs...

and I know that job interviews are always supposed to be nude...

but I don't want to look too monotoned

Erica - if you're wearing strappy shoes (open toe) I wouldn't do stocking at all...

I was thinking that...but I did that at my sisters wedding...and I have never been in more pain...(the straps cut into me)...I would get the non-sandletoe of course

Either would go but I would probably wear nude with open toe and black if you do not.

(I wear nude hose a lot because I wear business suits to work and in the summer it just goes better than black but now that it is fall I am starting to wear black a lot more to work.)
