Saturday night is my black tie party for the bridal salon...I have the dress and shoes and these gorgeous chandelier earrings (if i do say so myself!) I am going for another makeup trial before the party so I can actually get use out of the makeup. Here is the catch. I don't know what to do with my hair. FH says just wear it down but im not so sure. Its down to just about my shoulders so there isnt a whole lot I can do to it. Any thoughts or ideas would be great! It is at Villa Lombardis so I will post a review and pics on sunday!

the dress is a chocolate brown satin strapless dress...its a very slim a line wth a crystal broach in just in the middle of the waist...very simple and pretty! thats a nice idea!

Re: black tie party on saturday!
do you want to do it yourself? how about hot rollers just to get the soft waves, but also hair down would be fine i think. Or maybe putting your hair up and doing something nice in the back, i am bad with those things but if you know how to do that would be nice

Re: black tie party on saturday!
u can do like a high poof on top.. its hard to explain.. so i couldnt google it..
u know like that 'just combed' look.. but to do it u need to tease ur hair and use tons of hairspray..but it looks combed, not the 80's hairstyle.! lol
or u can twist 2 sections of hair..(1 on each side) and then clip them in the back
or just wear it down and part the hair differently than u normally wear it.. like to the side?

Re: black tie party on saturday!
Maybe half up/half down could work, with just some height in the front, like the poof thing?
Have a great time, can't wait to hear how VL was!

Re: black tie party on saturday!
If u want to try the look that's on jessica Simpson, get a few medium sized hot curlers, blow ur hair our (no straightening iron! It will flatten it ) put them in til they are cool, pull them out, tug slightly and spray with hairspray! It should work and look gorgeous! But if u don't want the hassel, just do it straight, it'll look beautiful either way.

I think the poof in the front would look cute!It makes hair that is down look a little fancier. I cant wait to hear aboy Villa too!!

Re: black tie party on saturday!
What about giving yourself a soft side part, and then gently crunch it a bit to make some soft waves? Or if you have a curling iron - practice the next couple nights.
