Black Tie Ques

I have a black tie wedding coming up and I have a random questioin

Shoes to wear in the winter? Ive been to a bunch of BT weddings but in the spring/summer where I can wear my really nice gold strappy shoes with my black dress but can I wear those in the freezing winter, even w/o stockings?

yeah i still wear strappy shoes in the winter for an event. You still see alot of other ppl doing the same thing. NO matter how cold it is, if i have an event and i want to wear strappy shoes then i will

Hmm... thats a good question.

Black tie usually requires floor legnth dresses for women (I think). Everyone wears strappy shoes now, so i wouldnt worry about that part.

I think you might be able to get away with it if you have a really nice peacoat etc. and maybe dangly earrings! HTH
