Has your FIL's done/or said anything yet about the wedding or planning that would cause you to want to slam your head into a wall?
Mine has mentioned a few times... ' Well' don't you think its a bit early to be looking for....'
Anything from BM dress to Invites to the DJ.. I think they believe in doing things last minute

My FMIL starts every discussion about wedding vendors with 'WE' but what she really means is FH & I...she expects us to add things that are NOT in our budget- It is really beginning to piss me off.

oh I can write the book on the FILs saying annoying things!!!
Just yesterday it was my FMIL saying 'this wedding is getting out of control.' And then when I mentioned that it was her son's idea to even do the big wedding thing (I wanted a small destination wedding) I got 'oh welll I guess I just always blame you for everything.' Nice, huh?
Like she should care how out of control it may be getting - they're not paying a dime towards it!
Then everytime one of them asks us a question about it, it is followed by 'well ___ (FHs sister) did ______.'
It's a good thing they live 1,200 miles away! Is Thanksgiving over yet so they'll go back home?????????

Yessssssssss!!! My FH thinks that I'm planning way too much in advance... he's out of his mind b/c he has no idea how fast dates go and how fast vendors book up.... too bad I got the last laugh- b/c we have booked every major vendor and booked our honeymoon as well

My FH IL says nothing about the wedding at all. In fact she told FH if she couldnt make the wedding then she would send a card...Who can top that one? FH's fam is def a different kind of fam...nothing like mine at all. Oh well, less drama to deal with!
