BLAHHHHHHHHHHHH =\

Don't mind this random rant, but I just need to let it outttt

a few months ago, two of my BM's and I planned a girls night for tonight. One of our friends from upstate is coming down just for it. This was BEFORe I started work / babysitting /tutoring/ and going to class. In all honesty, I have been so exhausted by the time Friday comes, not to mention I have to sit in class for 2 hours FRIDAY NIGHTS! Who does that! lol. Anyway, My FH and I have been to 13 weddings since we've known each other and it has been one right after the other (some within days of each other!) and our next one isn't until MARCH, so we have SO MUCH time to SAVE money for our OWN wedding. We both vowed that we wouldn't go out to eat, wouldnt go out and spend tons of money on drinks and going out. Don't get me wrong, I love going out with these girls, but I am just SO TIRED and they do not understand!

One was like 'We planned this so long ago you can't not come'

FH, me , and a few of my friends from HS are going apple picking tomorrow morning, I really don't want to be hungover for that, and we have our Epics on Sunday, which I want to be well rested for (I swear as I get older, I get more and more like a grandma! I can't drink two days in a row, and if I drink Friday, I'm done until Monday! loll) so I really don't want to go to her apt, go out til God knows when, then have to wake up early to go way out east. ( she lives in queens)

I want to try and lose some weight before my wedding, and I really want to cut back on drinking, not because its given me unwanted lbs in the last few years, but because I want to be healthier, and save money! Why can't they understand that! The one BM was married over the summer and I even said to her 'You know how it is trying to save for a wedding' and she goes 'Well our parents both paid for it'

Tht just makes me so madddddddd. Me and FH both come from a family of 6 and its hard because our parents put all 4 kids each through college and they've been paying for loans, their own bills and worrying about saving for our wedding. Me and FH are pretty much paying for the whole reception so we really need to buckle down and start saving more.

I wish our parents could give more, but you know what? They can't afford to. They are giving us a huge amount already, and I just feel so bad! I love my parents to death and I don't want them to worry about money :(

The other girl, (upstate) is friends with the BM that I'm talking about. She made upstate girl facebook me saying 'You have to come out Frday bc I made a CD for you' Like really?! I dont want to come out!

Thennnnnn she has her husband call my FH (they are friends from HS) and ask if he's doing anything bc he is free that night. FH tells me this and I just get so mad. She can't get it that I don't want to and can't go out!!! Don't try to convince my FH to go out with your husband so I have nothing to do! I rather go to bed eearly tonight! UGH

sorry, I am just so mad and this is no way to start a FRIDAY. UGH. I'm so pissed =\

and PS

I am taking my masters, and I have to do observations, and my friend who is married above, works in a school, so she said she would sign my papers and say I was there (I really can't leave my work bc I'm a teacher as well and it just wouldn't work out right now!) So I need a letter saying I can observe there, so I asked her to just write one up and fax it to my school. She was like 'type one up and email it to me and I'll sign and do it.'

Like really, you can't just do me that favor and write 'dear so and so I am allowing sarah to oberve at *schools name* for her observation hours, any questions, please call blah blah blah'

she wouldn't do it.

so I had to write pretty much what I just did and I emailed it to her.

seriously? with my scedule lately, I have no time for myself.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

sorry girls, :(

Wow your plate is full.

Dont be mad but i think you should go out w them for a little while. You made these plans months ago and you made the apple picking plans recently. You have someone coming from upstate for it. I would go and not drink. Im always the designated driver and im weight conscious and have crohns so i almost never drink anyway. I still have fun.

These are your bms. Youd be mad if they cancelled on you. Just suck it up and go out and leave early. Trust me you dont want to upset them bc they want to see you.

Also apple picking is over btw.

And i would just write the letter myself. Shes doing you a favor by signing it for you.

i am sorry you are going through this! I totall feel your pain.
honestly though, depending on what time they are getting together, just go for an hour or two, make your appearance, and then explain to them that you are tired, and really need to get some sleep b/c you have a lot to do this weekend. dont make it a lte night, but since you have someone coming from upstate, I am sure she wants to see you. I am sure thats not what you wanted to hear lol but i think it might be better jsut to make an appearance and not drink and dont stay out late.

hope you feel better and hope you get some sleep tonight!

I agree with the other girls. It may not be what you want to hear, but you really should go...even if it is just for a bit.

I think sometimes we forget how much of our wedding can be a burden monetarily on other ppl. If these girls are your bridesmaids, they will be paying for your gift, bachelorette party, shower plus their bridesmaid dress/hair/makeup. It's a lot to ask. I think going to see them even for a bit shows how you appreciate them.

Sorry, but just my 2 cents. Have fun this weekend!!

I see can your side, but I also see your friends side as well. Go and have a few drinks. Explain you have plans tomorrow that you made well in advance, and need to be up early. Your friends should understand, plus, they can't really be upset with you because you did come and hang out.

I think you should go too. You would be mad if you made plans with your Bridal party months or even only weeks in advance and then they decided they couldn't go since they had something on the next morning.

Sorry.
