so now that FH was kicked out of his band, and the 3 members of the band + their wives are no longer coming to the wedding, we only have 11 tables (we merged tables and lost one completely)
but we already paid for 12 CPs ....
do we just keep 11 tables and ask the florist to do something else with that extra CP (like use it on the sweetheart table, or place card table)? do i try to cancel that extra CP? or do i invite more people?
i'm kind of torn because i wanted to have 12 tables and not 11 ... but i also wanted a smaller wedding, if possible ... so what should i do?
TIA

Re: bleh :-/
we paid for 25 cps also and we only had 24 tables... so they put the last cp on our sweetheart table

Can you maybe have then adjust the contract...add more flowers to your bouquets and sweetheart table centerpiece instead of inviting more people?
I mean, if you're paying the same price, they probably won't care if you want to bulk up other floral arrangements in lieu of having another CP.

I don't think I would invite more people just so that you have another table. I would call and try to cancel. They didn't order anything yet so it wouldn't be difficult for them. If they say no, maybe you could put it on your escort card table or add more flowers to the other centerpieces.

I agree with the other girls. Just call and ask them to use the arrangement elsewhere or adjust what you already have.

I would keep it and use it at the placecard table. I think that would tie in your floral theme and be beautiful

If you dont already have a table card arrangment maybe they can do something alittle different for that table. I think its kind of late to add people. They will know they were an after thought at this point. If you really dont need another arrangement I would ask for extras in all of our arrangements.

I voted to add it to another table. why go thru all the trouble of rewriting a contract? And besides, if you invite more people, its more $$ you might dish out. So the idea itself is expensive
