FH and I are meeting the Rabbi again tonight ... i feel like we could've just discussed all of this via email and/or phone rather than waste our time .....
if we didn't have this appointment, we'd be able to go to my mom's house for a BBQ with my aunt & uncle (who got here a week ago from israel)
oh well, too late to cancel with the Rabbi now ... but still - bleh!

Similar thing happened to us when we had to meet with our Priest. We had the appointment during dinner at my parents house & I was so upset to leave, since my nieces & nephew where over. We went to meet the Priest & I nicely mentioned how we scheduled two things at the same time. He was nice enough to discuss everything quickly.

I just called him up and left a voice mail asking if we really need to meet because i have nothing to discuss with him (but i obviously said it in a nicer way ) ... we'll see what he says when he calls back

SUCCESS - Rabbi appointment has been cancelled ... we'll do everything on the phone and via emails ... yay!
