Does anyone know where to get the rhinestone buckles or anything like that for the invites like the ones the Dochelle makes?

Re: Bling for invites
I posted in the 08 board about this today and just now in the 07 board...
Some ladies said walmart in westbury has them for the cheapest prices. Some also said to try the buttons and trimming stores in the garment district in manhattan.
I'm going to try to check them out tomorrow to see the prices. Will get back to you and let you know what I find.
Going to walmart this weekend!

Re: Bling for invites
So I went and did a little research on friday.
I went to walmart, they do have packages of 'rhinestone like' buckles (3 for $1.73, but they are different shapes). I didn't like them much because they look kind of like plastic and don't really shine. You can use them to make a sample though before you purchase the real thing.
I went to to the garment district and found a trimming store called Margola Corp (48 West 37th street). I worked with Lorraine. The phone number is 212-695-1115. They have all sizes of rhinestone buckles. I found a small round buckle that I liked that costs $7.91 per dozen. That works out to be about $0.66 for each buckle. They have a 10 dozen minimum order which is fine with me, since I need at least 150 of them. So I figure I can order all of the buckles I need for about $110 or so before taxes, which isn't that bad.
I'm going to try and search the garment district a little more, but I think that's going to be the best deal I can find.
