Blocking Hotels

Hi
Does anyone have any info on hotel blocking? I have about 15 invites going out to people out of town. How many rooms do you think I should block? Should I do just one hotel? I thought it would be nicer to pick at least 2 to give people a choice, no? Should I block the hotels close to where we live or closer to the reception hall? Help please

Re: Blocking Hotels

i would do closer to the reception hall. i am booking at two places, one where we'll be staying but its expensive and the other not so expensive. i booked 20 rooms in the one we're staying at and probably 20 for the other one unless their stipulations are different..the first one doesn't charge you if they aren't used.
