is there a way to block a specific number from contacting your cell phone without changing your cell number?

you might be able to contact your cell phone carrier. id call and ask

I tried to block an ex-boyfriend from calling me but Verizon Wireless said that there is no way of doing this unless I change my number

thats why im doing it too. he keeps texting me and i want nothing to do with it, but i really dont want to change my number. i called t-mobile and they said i cant do it without changing my number too. :(

My ex still texts me at least twice a month......me and FH get so annoyed!!!!!! I just don't wanna change my number because I had this number for 8 years now and all my wedding vendors have this number!!!! These ex's need to get a life!!!!!

I ended up changing my number too... I just couldn't take it anymore and it has been a wonderful ex-free 6 months!!!!!!
