Re: Blocking Rooms at Hotel
most hotels no you dont leave anything. Ive heard of a few places but youll see the majority of us didn't have to. If the rooms dont get booked, they just release them a month before the wedding

NO I did not have to leave a deposit. I signed a contract saying they were holding the rooms though.

NO ! You should not have to leave any deposit. They will have you sign a contract saying how many rooms and until what date they will hold them and at what price.

No I didnt need to leave any money. I just had to sign something stating that I guarantee a certain percentage of those blocked rooms would be booked. And then those not fufilled would be released back to the hotel 30 days prior

What about trying Four Points Sheraton or Fox Hollow. We ended up with Fox Hollow

Well I needed to book 3 rooms from wed-sat (OOTers from Cali) then I wanted to stay the night before and night of. So I made the other room blocks for the same thing, night before and night of. So i dont know if they would have let me do the one night. Call them up, they are really nice. Its a little more pricey than the other hotels but its so pretty and the rooms have EVERYTHING in them!
