Bloomingdales or Fortunoff-

Bloomingdales or Fortunoff-

Which do you perceive to be more expensive.?

Yesterday FH and I went to check out both of these as well as Macy's and Pottery Barn. Well, we like Fortunoff for somethings but liked Bloomingdales better for others. Anyway, my mom and sister say that guest will think that Bloomingdales is too expensive. I am going to counter with Bed, Bath and Beyond, but I don't want everyone to run there just b/c they think the other stores are too expensive. What should we do? Can we register at all 3 stores? Thanks...

I am registered at BBB and plan to register at Fortunoff's as well. As for BBB being cheaper, yes it definitely is, but our All-Clad pots are $$$$$$$. So, it balances out.

Register wherever you ant, don't sweat it!! Who care what people think, IMO. No matter what you do, someone is going to say SOMETHING. Well, at least in my family.

We registered at both plus Crate and Barrel. I found that Bloomindales and Fortunoff have a lot of the same stuff, but Bloomdales is more expensive.

I registered at BBB & Fortunoff. Fortunoff will beat anyone's price.

Fortunoff prices are much better than bloomies.
I have had an Ok experience with fortunoff so far. They do make quite a lot of mistakes so you have to stay on top of them

Thanks for the input all, I may do all three and only put the things that I really want from Bloomies on that registry...

I registered at bloomingdales and fortunoffs because I thought that but certain things are the same price - place settings, crystal etc - depending on what it is.

I would register at both then let your guests decide where they want to shop. If you have OOT guests they will know bloomingdales and not fortunoffs.

BTW we got just about everything off both registeries - but I think more people shopped at bloomies than at fortunoffs which I was suprised at
