Blues Clues...long FINALLY PICS!!
FI sister has 2 young daughter who love to go on nickelodeon.com. A few months ago, FI sis logged on for them and a pop up for a contest came on. The first prize was a party for 50 with Joe and Blue in attendance, fully catered, decorated, clean up and $1000.00, so she entered. She received a phone call in January from Nickelodeon..she won!
She kept it from the girls and planned it for last Sunday. The girls slept at Grandmas house, who kept them busy all day. When FI and I got to Sis house, there were blue paw prints from the hydrant up to the house, balloons adorned the driveway, when we walked in there were 6 employees of Nick who were setting up. There were balloons everywhere.
As her guest kept coming Blue (yes the real blue not the cheesy costume you can rent at party city) came out of the garage, the kids went NUTS. I happend to be inside when the phone rang so I picked up, it was Joe, who had to stay in charactor the whole day he said 'Hi this is Joe I'm a friend of Blues I hear your having a party can I come?' I was like ummmm ooook.
FI's 2 nieces finally arrived with Gma & Gpa, when they saw Blue they were kind of in shock, but quickly overcame it.
Did I forget to mention that the interns were serving snacks and stuff 'butler style' (lol).
Joe pulled up in the limo and from that point on all you heard was 'JOE JOE', this guy must realllllly love kids!
They had prizes and games for everyone, including party favors. They paid for all the food and beverages....pizza, chicken fingers, biscuits, fries. Even a beautiful 2 tiered cake. Joe was a sweet heart! Even while eating (or trying to) he was so sweet to the kids. He signed autographs and took so many pictures. It lasted for hours.
I was so impressed. I have just gotten the pics back and I will post as soon as I can have them scanned.
