ahh! danielle you remembered! i feel so LIW official!!! :) it was great! i'll post some pics soon...we had the shower at my MOH's parents' home in Annapolis, and then that night 5 of us went out in a limo for the bachelorette (while they were all in town.) ohhh it was all so fun! my great aunts came to the shower and everyone that couldn't come even sent gifts-they were all given either an hour of the day or season...it was just all too great. and NOW i'm totally ready to get married and stop talking about it!!!!

I am so glad you had a great time!!! Sounds like a very eventful weekend. What did you do for your bachelorette party and is Frank having one? I like the idea of people giving shower gifts based on time of the day. Did you get any unusual or fun gifts? So, what does one get someone for 2 a.m. anyway?

My mom and MOH are throwing my shower at my mom's house on April 23rd. We are having it late because part of it will be outdoors, so we need warmer weather. They are doing a Tuscany Theme with italian food and a wine expert coming in to give us a wine tasting and demo! I can't wait.
Oh, those Aussie invites are still not here. I expect them to arrive towards the end of next week. Then I'll have one week to stuff and send! I can't wait to see them and for this task to be done! I'll post pics when I get them.

i only have a few photos of me opening presents...a few more are coming from other friends (my camera died--ahhh!)
OH! Your shower looks like it was so much fun! I haven't heard of the idea of people giving gifts according to the time of day. How do you do it exactly?
NauticalBride...I love the idea of the tuscan themed shower! Very creative and fun and shows great planning!
It is too hard to believe that the weddings are so close...I mean 3 months or less!

the tuscan theme sounds wonderful-i am already hungry for the food-haha.
my MOH hosted the party and she assigned a time of day to each guest or season-like summertime or football season. it worked out well and i got some really creative presents.
