ok, might be a dumb question, but when exactly is the veil removed from the brides face?? The last few weddings i've been to, they didnt wear it.

I thought it was when the husband goes to kiss the bride.

I thought the father did it when he gave her away. I could be wrong though.

I did some research and I was wrong, traditionally FOB that flips the veil, but the groom can do it as well.

You can do it 2 ways, your father can do it and when he gives you away or your father can lift it to give you away, give you a kiss and put it back over your face so DH can lift it when they pronounce you. A friend wore hers thru the ceremony and said it was SO incredibly annoying

Mine was lifted by my mom & brother when they gave me away.

My dad will lift mine when he gives me away, I cant have that in front of my face the entire time.
