Re: blusher.....
I'm not wearing one, I don't care for things in my face too much, and I'm not being pressured by anyone to do one anyways. I may add one later on, but most likely I'll just stick with what I have.

Re: blusher.....
I think I'm doing a 2 tier cathedral silk tulle veil w/ the blusher in front, over my head. I'm going for the dramatic entrance I think there's something so sweet about being underneath a veil.

totally agree...I wouldnt feel comfy.
I find the tradition behind the blusher to be a litte disturbing as well. just not for me! But ic an understand why people would want the dramatic entrance.
In case you were curious this was what i found... The Veil is also related to the arranged marriages when the bride's face was covered until the groom was committed to the bride at the ceremony, so it would be too late for him to escape if he did not like the looks of his bride
Just doent sit well with me!

Re: blusher.....
I got one. I wanted it to be all romantic and stuff with FH lifting hte veil over my head. With our luck, he'll wind up poking me in the eye accidentally but I get to at least have my moment in my head.

Yeah I dont like the meaning behind it either. It was like a big trick to get the groom to be stuck with you.

Re: blusher.....
Just so you guys know, a 2-tier veil is not the same as a blusher. The blusher is still an additional layer. I'm getting a 2-tier elbow-length veil but I also will still need a blusher. They are usually just velcroed on and removed after the ceremony/before the CH.

Re: blusher.....
I am 100% doing the blusher... I love the dramatic flare that it adds!
But doesnt your dad or whoever is walking you down, pull it back?
