I'm torn, I feel it's out dated but then again I feel like I should because it's so traditional, especially because I'm getting married in a church.
Interested in your thoughts!!

Pretty sure I will be - I think they are so romantic and timeless looking. I will have my father lift it back when we he finishes walking me down the aisle, so it will only be over my face for the walk.
Haven't decided yet on a blusher, but if I do, this is my exact reason why. I'm not doing a church wedding, but I totally agree how classic and romantic it is.

I'm not sure if I even want to do a veil but I always knew I'd NEVER do a blusher.
I just don't want something in my face like that. Even if its just for the walk down the aisle.
If I decide to do a veil it will be just be a single layer veil. Probably fingertip length. But I'm on the fence about it.
i was on the fence about wearing a veil as well, so I'm glad to see i'm not the only one. I tried 2 on and each time it felt like it wasn't really me. But then i thought maybe it would be weird if I didnt have one at all.

I am not using a blusher and getting married in a church. I am actually using my sister's finger-tip and catherdral length veil. I asked her where the blusher was, and she said she didnt have one. I didnt believe her, I could swear she had one. She was obviously right, but clearly it didnt make that big of a difference if I couldnt even remember!

Re: Blusher
Good question. I tried one on when I was in my dress. It is very classic and traditional especially being in a church but I'm 50/50 about it.

I always wanted one, but when I tried it on with my cathedral length veil I felt it looked 'mish-moshed' together. I guess it depends on what look you're going for.

I have a blusher on my veil (cathedral) for church. I'm planning to change it to something more fun, less romantic for the reception.
