Blusher
Are any of you ladies doing a blusher ?I'm torn, I feel it's out dated but then again I feel like I should because it's so traditional, especially because I'm getting married in a church.
Interested in your thoughts!!

Re: Blusher
i am not doing a blusher. i'm going to get a mantilla and don't really like the look of the mantillas with blushers.however, i am also not getting married in a church, so i feel like i can be a bit more laid back. i would definitely get a blusher for a church wedding - sooo classy and traditional!

I got a cathedral veil with no blusher and I'm getting married in a church. I got a pretty side clip to wear to jazz it up a bit, but I have no desire to have a puffy thing on the top of my head from the blusher being flipped around at the alter. Looks too 80s to me

Crashing! I got married in a church and I had a blusher. I kind of didn't want to and was also torn. My family said use it and glad I did.

I am having one. It's not 80s. it is classic and something I always dreamed of and envisioned. But everyone has different tastes and styles. It depends on what you envision for yourself as well as your style dress.

I personally HATE the idea of me wearing one (not when other people choose to do it) and will not be doing a blusher. (I am also getting married in a church.) I actually went to try on veils today and the woman helping me never even asked me if I wanted one and just pulled ones without. It doesn't seem to be a popular thing these days, but I've been to several weddings where the bride has worn one.Basically, wear one if it's important for you to be traditional, but don't do it because you feel like you have to do everything the traditional way! Do what you want

I'm getting married in a church and not wearing one. I am wearing a veil though. My 2 friends got married in a church and wore a veil with no blusher as well.

I not doing one. I am also not getting married in a chirch. If I was I would consider it. I just don't like thigs in my face. And then it would have to lay right in the back just something else for me to worry about it my opinion.

I never even thought of doing a blusher, I knew right away I was going to do a fingertip veil. I think they are super cute but it has to go with the style of your dress as well as the look of your wedding. I am having a church wedding, a full mass and just feel that a veil is much more appropriate but to each their own!

I'm not sure if I even want to do a veil but I always knew I'd NEVER do a blusher.I just don't want something in my face like that. Even if its just for the walk down the aisle.
If I decide to do a veil it will be just be a single layer veil. Probably fingertip length. But I'm on the fence about it.

I'm getting married in a church & I'm not wearing a blusher. I'm wearing a finger tip veil. It's up to you! Blusher''s are very traditional. If your going more for a traditional wedding then I would wear one. if your leaning towards a more modern look then I wouldn't.

I'm wearing a cathedral length veil and am getting married in a church. I was toying with the idea of a blusher, but I didn't like how it looked on me when I tried on veils with blushers. My mom was upset coz she wanted me to get one since it was so traditional and classy, but since I felt uncomfortable with a blusher, I decided to opt out. I think you should try on veils with blushers and without, and see which look you like better for yourself.

I'm wearing one. Personally I think it's classic and gorgeous and I've always envisioned myself in one on my wedding day. It also goes very well with the vintage/romantic feel of my gown. You have to do what you want to do. I've been to plenty of church weddings where people do not wear a blusher and they don't look any less gorgeous than those who do. :)
Edited to add that I'm also wearing a cathedral veil incase you were wondering

Pretty sure I will be - I think they are so romantic and timeless looking. I will have my father lift it back when we he finishes walking me down the aisle, so it will only be over my face for the walk.Welcome New Vendors
