Blusher or No Blusher???

Re: Blusher or No Blusher???

I wanted to wear one but when I tried it on, OMG! I felt sooo claustrophobic. NOT good to have a panic attack on your weddign day because of your veil, so decided not to wear one-just slipping it into the base of my head. It's one tier.

Just as a side note-the tradition of a blusher (have this great site of all traditions revealed hehe) was started because marriaged were pre-arranged way back when and some parents of the brides wanted to keep the groom from seeing their future wife in the event they found her unattractive and decided to call off the wedding!

I think I'm going to wear mine going down the aisle just so my Dad can turn it back when I get to the altar. (makes a good photo op, as well :) ) ....then for the rest of the night Ill just have the tiara on or maybe stick the veil lower and in the back instead of on top of my head, if you know what i mean

I didn't

I decided against it partly because my skin is so sensitive and when I tried it, it drove me crazy!

I wore one, thats how I envisioned myself walking down the aisle ever since I was a little girl.

Same here. I loved wearing it! It's so nice when your dad pulls it off your face when you reach DH at the end of that aisle! Makes for great pictures too!

I wore one.....I thought it would be claustrophobic but it wasn't bad at all. See how you feel when you try one on with your dress.

no. I think they look kind of silly, and the whole arrange-marriage-potentially-ugly-bride origins of the tradition don't really appeal to me.
