Blushers

After walking down the aisle......does your father lift your blusher...or after your vows and kiss, your husband lifts it? I've seen both and i'm confused.....what are you all doing?

Traditionally it's not lifted until the'kiss'

All the weddings I have been too the blusher has been lifted by the dad when he gives away his daughter.

I am going to do it when he first gives me away...

I'm going to have my Dad lift it... I'm worried that once he says you may kiss the bride and with all the eyes on us-- my FH will crack under the pressure and just toss it up and it will be a mess or somehow make a clumsy mistake and it will be awkward LOL-- so this way, my Dad takes his time in taking it up and makes sure it's not bunched up when he does...

then we can just KISS and not have to worry about anything else!!!

but as far as tradition-- i dont know, i have seen it both ways, i think it's just personal preference!

My dad lifted mine so that he and my mother could kiss me, then they put it back down till 'the kiss'.

Traditionally, it's done after the kiss, but it's a hot church and I want my Dad to do it, so he's doing it once he's walked me down the aisle and he's giving me away. I'll be crying and I'm sure he'll be shaking.
