I'm so torn and I feel really terrible. Just for a little back story... FH and I decided that we were only going to do a MOH and BM - no one else in the bridal party. So I had a VERYYYYYYY had time choising between my 2 best friends. I went with the one that I felt would take it harder if I didn't ask her. But now, I know my other best friend is upset (she hasn't said anything and never would she does understand!). I really want her to be in the bridal party the more I think about it. She is my oldest friend, we have been best friends for the past 15 years and I feel like I'm just leaving her out. FH's BM is my brother and FH doesn't have any other close enough friends he'd want in the BP. (When FH and I got prego his friends slowly slipped away bc he grew up and they DIDN'T!) Anyway... I don't want it to be like the whole BP is all MY people you know? or am I crazy?? FH said if thats what I really want its ok, but I know it upsets him he doesn't have anyone else close enough and I don't want to be rubbing it in his face. idk what to do I really don't want to upset FH in anyway but I also don't want my other best friend to feel left out. Also, is it like I waited too long?? I asked MOH in April. I'm so torn!!!!!!!!!

if she's that special to u, have her!
My BP is uneven - i think it's fine :)
also i'm not in one of my best friends weddings, and it really hurts (even though like ur friend i'd never say anything cause I understand). But it's really an honor to be in a wedding, and if she's special to u - just have her; you dont want any regrets :)

I was going to say the same thing - I have 2 MOHs (one's a maid of honor and ones a matron) and FH has his brother as the BM.
Does FH have any close family member, like a cousin, that he could make a GM?

If you feel this way now, you will probably feel even worse when the wedding is closer. I dont think you are rubbing it in FH's face at all, im sure he understands that you have 2 very close friends. I think you should ask her, it seems like you care about her very much, and those are the people who belong in your briday party! Good luck!

No, he comes from a family of all females. and his brothers are too young and out of control

Re: BM advice... need help! (little long)
I have way more BMs than my FH has GMs.
I have 8 girls and he has 4 mayb 5.
I originally left out one of my oldest friends because I already have 7 girls and FH only had 4. Well she expressed to me how she felt (she was upset), and I felt horrible that i didn't as her in the first place. I explained to her that I had so many people already and that's why I didn't ask her originally. I decided to ask her anyways.
I asked my whole bridal party last October, and I just asked my last friend this July.
Explain it to her and then ask her to be in you BP. You shouldnt have to hurt yourself or your friends because FH only has 1 person and you have 2. If I were you I would definitely ask her.
HTH!

Re: BM advice... need help! (little long)
typically a moh walks down by hereself. i was moh for my sister and i walked down by myself
honestly, do whatever it is you want and dont over think it. this girl is obvi very important to you and if you want her part of the wedding, do it
there really is no right or wrong here and everybody has different bridal parties

you all are totally right... idk why I even waited this long!!!!!!! I'm just being so silly!!! Thank you so much for all your help!!! I'm definietly asking her!!! I know FH will be fine and I am just totally overthinking this!!
If the maid of honor walks down by herself typically who walks down with the best man??
I guess I could have that be the other girl right? esp since my MOH and BM do not like each other at all lol

Re: BM advice... need help! (little long)
maybe they all walk down by themselves. its not like you have this huge bp that if everybody walks down by themselves it will take 10 minutes
its your wedding! do it however you want.
i'm thinking i want my sister (matron of honor) to walk down with my bro-in-law (groomsmen)...which technically isnt the norm, but i want my sister to walk down with her husband

I'm not having the GM's walk down the aisle at all. They wil ALLL be at the altar and the girls will walk up the aisle alone. Then, after the ceremony, they will pair off and walk back out of church with the GM's
If you have 2 girls, they could eachjust take the arm of your best man and all walk out together. OR, they could all walk back out seperately.
Ask the girl. The set up and logisitcs are not that big of a deal, I promise.
