Ok so I've been having convos with my BM's.. some have found very nice dresses on David's Bridal website. I was all about J.Crew.
Any differences? Is the quality more of less the same? For some reason I just don't trust David's Bridal, but I did see some very nice dresses on their site....

I've been in weddings where we've work David's Bridal dresses and they were beautiful. I used J.Crew for my own BP dresses and I thought they were gorgeous!

Ive been in weddings that have used both. JCrew is more expensive so better quality. Davids Bridal is fine, its for one day (never will use it again). IMO I would go with DB, less money out their pockets. Ive used them for several weddings & had no issues.

its all about cost. we only paid $99 for BM dresses for my cousins wedding at Davids Bridal.

Very easy to deal with! I've heard there's one in the city that either carries the dresses or will order them so that your girls can try them on. I went to the one in Roosevelt Field and ordered it from the red phone (free shipping that way) and if any of your girls are either students or teachers they get 10% off!

i'm partial to jcrew. 1) if you wait you can get the dresses on sale for a substanial amount off 2) they can be worn again
if you go to the store in rockefeller center you can try on the dresses. you have to make an appointment though.

I have never been happy with the quality of David's, but as some girls have said its only for one day. I think Mori Lee is better (same price range but better quality).
J Crew are cute, and are mostly silk, but they only go up to size 16 (they are supposed to come out with bigger sizes soon) so if you have any bigger girls, your kinda out of luck. On the other hand, they are actually the kind of dresses girls could wear again.
