Hi ladies. I have been looking for bm dresses the past month. I'm looking for purple, but am having trouble finding the exact hue I want. I like dessy's african violer shade but didn't like the dresses. Right now I am considering Bill Levkoff's Euro Eggplant, but it is not the shade I originally envisioned for my wedding. Did anyone else have trouble finding the right hue for bm dresses? Can anyone recommend a place with a large selection of dresses?
Also I came across this picture of bridesmaids and I like the color. Does anyone know the designer of this dress? Pic in Bridesmaid album.

I fell in love with an impressions dress in the darker purple from bridal reflections. I dont k ow the name of the hue.

My color is purple an I just got a Bill Levkoff's bm dress. I went with a new shade called 'plum' did you see that color yet? The girl at the place told me it was a brand new shade, I don't know how true that is though lol

I'm using Bill Levkoff too , the European Eggplant but if you want plum he has that color for the chiffon and the charmeuse dresses

LOVE that, I am doing the opposite!! My girls are wearing Bill Levkoff Pewter and my MOH is wearing Bill Levkoff Plum.
Def check out the Bill Levkoff plum. My MOH dress is his in chiffon and it is a great shade! It was my favorite purple shade by far when I was looking.

I'd probably check that because on both of his websites the Euro Satin material is only available in certain colors and Euro Plum isn't one of them. He does have a taffeta dress that's available in plum on hi other line. Here's the website http://dzage.com/Collection.aspx
The website doesn't say it comes in plum but I just ordered in plum

Thank you ladies. I also saw that Bill Levkoff offers Regency now. The hue was too bright for me.

I also had a nice experience at RK bridal. They have a 'no frills' program, that is great. If you get measured yourself and find someone to do the alterations for you, they give a reduced price. I'm getting Alfred Angelo long chiffon dresses from them for less than 150 a piece. It might be worth a trip in!

I've also gone to RK Bridal a few times, and had a great experience. Only issue is that there are SO many gowns to choose from. My colors are purple as well, but I'm just not finding anything from Bill Levkoff or Bari Jay with the purple I had in mind.

Hey Angie....email me the color you like (google the shade you want and save it) and email it to me. I can stop by the wedding center in Commack and see who carries it. They have a lot of lines in their store and have a sample of like every color so if I see something I will tell you and you can find out who else carries it. I have to go there next week for misc. items and to check out colors for my BM so I'll take a look!!! [email protected]'ll take pics too!
