I want to use Bill Levkoff Tissue Taffeta gowns in Indigo (a darker blue iridescent color, there are no pictures of the exact color online!!). What color flowers do you think go with this??? I was thinking a brighter pink flowers for me, and maybe white flowers for the girls, or a lighter pink?
you could do some ivory and light orange color flowers...or yellow sunflowers....or a combo of light and dark pinks with some ivory mixed in. blue is a good color to work with. My BM dresses are indigo too and we're doing light orange, and ivory roses for a fall theme, so since your wedding is summer a pink might be more appropriate. good luck!

Thanks--yeah I thought pink would be good for summer but it's hard to tell sometimes! Any other thoughts?

I like the idea of pink....because its a dark color the flowers should be bright so that they really 'pop' (too much TLC )
If you do white maybe mix them with those beautiful light blue hydrangeas (I love those flowers) white roses and calla lilies would look amazing. Peonies are beautiful too....

I love the peonies...beautiful! I saw pictures once of a bride who allowed all the girls to choose their favorite white flower for their bouquet, and they were all different, and I kind of liked that idea....perhaps brighter pink for me, pale pink for the MOH, and white with pink wraps for the BM?

the blue taffeta has a black hue undertone to it!!!! do not do white..too bright!

Well the color is really a lot lighter than it looks on the computer....but you may be right anyway....what about pale pink for BM and brighter pink for me?

I'm using that color -- we ended up ordering a yard of the fabric to see what it actually looked like before ordering (I wanted to make sure it wasn't more of a navy) and then took the fabric to my florist appt.
We are going with callas and roses for BM bouquets. (see below)
I think a bright pink would look really nice, but maybe a bouquet of just roses without greens. it's a modern fabric so i thought it should be paired with more modern flowers.
