what's an average price for a BM gown. I saw some I thought were beautiful and reasonable - but my FH thought it would be too much.
I know every case is different - I was just curious.

well my bm dresses came out to 228 w/tax....and my bms were ok with that. but u get dresses for so much less, especially if its at a store that doesnt do alterations
try Here Comes The Bridesmaids or RK Bridal

My dresses were 230 plus dress acessories like a sash or a flower.. plus tax. They are normally 295, but the more you buy, the cheaper they get!

Mine were $230-260 every where I checked until I looked into RK Bridal's no frills program (the designer is not available online). Anyway, I wound up getting them for $162+tax (~$176 each). I really wanted something under $150 but I figured that $12 wouldn't break the bank for anyone.

Bari Jay dresses from Bridal Reflections were $165!! They cap the alterations at $55...very reasonable

My BM dresses came to $116 before alterations- alterations cap at $45.
They were anywhere from$158-$178 in various bridal salons.

MIne will be 128$ But I am in a wedding Upstate NY where the bride is making us get Watters and Watters dresses for $300 that she is cutting to tea length!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mind you the wedding is only $40 a plate. My dress will be worth more than a whole friggin table.

Although each girl ordered her own dress, the most expensive one is under $200--3 of the girls ordered dresses in the $150 price range. Alterations capped at $65

My girls dresses are 171...w/o tax...but they save 10% cause i got my dress there, so basically after tax it will be the same price. I wanted to keep it under 200 after taxes..so im happy with the price

Mine started at $160. Got the cheapest price from Bridal Reflections at $140.
I got a few quotes online and played 2 online stores against each other and got the dresses for $97.00 + $10 shipping total for all 7 dresses and no tax!
It's a tea length so alterations will be a bit simpler. I have a tailor in Huntington that will be doing the dresses for $30.00.
