BM Dress Help

So I went with 3 BMs on sunday...had a nice time at wedding salon manhasset- i was a little upset with the selection, I thought they had more

anyway...I am letting my girls pick their own dress

oy vey I had no idea how difficult it was!!!!

I originally thought I'd do purple dresses or champagne
I ended up just going with black chiffon dresses and everyone pick a style

do you think its silly if I have black BM dresses- they will hold white calla lily Boks...and I will hold purple calla lily boks

and then flowers in main room and ceremony are purple/red

is this too much going on??

I feel like black is so chic, elegant, classy, timeless and flattering

and its soooo hard to get 7 girls to all like enough dresses from the same line, same fabric, same color!

i def know what you mean about how difficult it is for all the BM to like the same style dress and i have 9 on my side of BP...

but i think that the white will look really good with the black and the purple with yours and i dont think that it will be tooo much going on with the centerpieces bc with the pics your only gonna see the BM and the white BoKs and then pics of the centerpieces separately...

my florist is a big fan of doing something different for BP, Ceremony and RH

I even thought about doing all white ceremony, I guess I have time to decide

as long as nothing is finalized right now you got plenty of time to change your mind 5 times if you want

I was originally planning on black BM dresses the entire time. Then we went to try on dresses and I went with a Blue

I love the idea of black. It's classy, elegant and to me timeless. Plus your girls might actually wear them again

i love black BM dresses! I was between black and purple and eventually went with the purple but black was a close second.

My girls are holding eggplant calla lillies and lilac/mauve-ish cymbidium orchids and i am carrying eggplant calla lillies with a collar of white cymbidiums around the edges. Our CPs are all white and then for the ceremony our florist is bringing in an iron structure and draping it with material and uplighting it from the interior...

That being said - not everything I am doing is matchy matchy either and I am confident it will all look amazing and seamless.

im doing the exact same thing...but with pink flowers in their bouquets (mixed with white callas)

I havent taken the girls shopping yet but plan on leeting them pick out their own dresses, i cant be bothered! all i plan on doing is telling them a material (chiffon or satin) and then they have free range (well it must be long too)

My wedding colors are black, white & green (black BM dresses with bouquets of white calla lilies & green orchids)

I think black, red, and purple will look great! Black dresses def need a pop of color. Could you include some red/purple in the BM bouquets to match your centerpieces? This may tie it all together.

thanks...I will play around and look for ideas...maybe throw some purple calla lilies in the girls boks, thanks!
