BM Dress Length

Are you guys going for floor length, knee length, etc for your BM dresses?

I originally wanted a little above the knee since it's a spring wedding, but my BM's vary a lot in height, which means that some are going to wear flip flops while others are wearing 4' heels... and I feel like that will look weird..

So I was thinking of covering that up using floor length dresses... but would that look weird for a spring wedding?

Do you want them all to be the same height? If you do, than I guess floor length would be best just so the girls can wear whatever shoes they want to even them out in height.

I personally would like my girls all in knee length black dresses and I am going to have them pick our a pair of dyeable shoes from the same company which I will pay to have dyed the same shade of green - but they all don't have to be the same shoe. They can get whichever they are most comfortable in.

My BM's are all picking their dresses. I pick the color and material. But my 2 MOH's are wearing floor length and the rest are knee length.

but i'm still playing around with the idea of having both BM's wear the same dress and floor length..and the BM's wear the same dress but knee length.

i just cant find any yellow dress that i like so far... so frustrating

Well, when I ordered my BM dresses in tea length they asked me if I wanted to have the dresses all be the same length or to have them all hit at the same spot on their legs. I opted for them to all hit at the same spot on their legs. I think it would look weird since they all are VERY different heights. My tallest BM would either have to have it around her ankles or the shortest BM with it up around her hoo-ha!

i'm also a June bride and all of my girls are wearing floor length dresses.
I think it makes it more elegant thatn knee length. but its up to your personal preferences.
also, i'm using a light chiffon material for the dresses so they are not too heavy

i feel like i wouldn't mind if all the girls wore different shoes... cause they could always crop that out of the photos... but height wise will look weird... so i think i rather it be evened out...

ugh... so difficult!

I'm leaving that up to my MOH. So far she's been looking at tea length. I've been seeing a lot of floor length that I like (like in the other post ) but I'm not sure if that would work for the beach and for her.

My wedding is the the spring and Im doing floor length, i have also been in weddings inthe summer with a floor length dress, I think it makes it look more formal if thats what your going for.

All of my girls will be wearing floor length. I don't think they would be comfortable in anything shorter in November...brrrr

I'm thinking of putting my girls in knee length since its goingt o be a late april wedding and its going to be warm and I dont want them to sweat alot. After being a bridesmaids 5 times and wearing 4 floor length dresses and 1 knee length dress, the best thing was that knee length dress esp in july! ha. But i guess its up to each bride to decide what and how they want their wedding to look :)
