ok - so friday is the first day i am going to go BM dress shopping - and i am not sure what i should be doing.
did you bring a pic of what you wanted? or did you just have an idea and tell the lady? or did you keep a complete open mind and just go look???
not sure what i am doing...... HELP!

Well you know what I did!!!! If I didn't already have a dress picked out that I wanted to look at, I would probably keep an open mind-you never know what you might like. If you have pictures cut out then bring them. I think that you could browse on their site & see what designers they carry.
I am so excited-I can't wait to see what I am gonna wear!!!!

i am going friday for the first time (sort of) too... While I was dress shopping fo rme I saw one dress that I love but Friday I am going with my sisters... I wasn't planning to bring anything but one place did tell me to try to think about styles and colors I liked to make it easier.... I am SO torn on colors that I can't even begin to narrow that down so I fee like Friday is really going to be a 'let's try on almost everything to figure out what looks good and what we hate' kind of thing....

I went on saturday with my girls. I basically requested that the dresses be either strapless or halter but they picked out the dresses they wanted. I knew what color I wanted though.
That way no one could complain that I put them in a bad style

I looked online at all different syles & kinf\d of just came across the one I picked. Then I found the store that carried it. I think that in your case maybe having an open mind is the best bet--becuase you are not really sure what you want.

If you want, the only thing i would possibly suggest is going on web sites of bm dress designers like Alfred Angelo, Alfred Sung, Bill Levkoff, etc. You could do a search of designers because that will give you an idea of what you are looking for and also the colors that certain designers have and don't have. I got Bill Levkoff and it was nice to go online and play a little anyway
