so i still haven't went bm dress shopping yet..i have ideas of what i like..but in your opinion..whats the absolute longest I should wait? should i start now?

i would atleast look at different styles online and maybe one day bring a BM with you to look around. The process can take longer depending on how many girls you have etc. I have 6 months left and I'm ordering the dresses by this month

Im thinking of starting soon..i have 6 girls all of different shapes and sizes...its going to be annoying..i have a feeling

All I knew was I wanted a medium blue, and thought I would pick strapless. My MOH and a BM came with me when I looked for my dress, and tried on 3 samples while we were out. They fell in love with one dress, the others OK'd it so we ordered it back in Sept/Oct (don't remember). I never expected it to be that quick, and I know it can take a lot longer especially if your BMs are very different body sizes. Mine are all on the petite side with small boobs so it was pretty easy.

I think you have to order 6 months ahead. I ordered mine in november and they are coming in mid march/end of march. Dont order your dresses but definitely take a trip to paradise bridal in patchogue. HUGE BM selection!!! I didnt end up ordering the gowns there but we did find the dress there!

i found the dress within minutes....it was a dress i loved in pictures and when we went to try on my wedding dress i had 2 out of my 3 girls with me so we asked if they had the bm dress that i liked the pictures of.....they had it and the sample was the exact color i wanted.....they tried it on and that was it......its the dress!! but i only have 3 girls with gorgeous bodies so that helps! im going to order mine about 8 months before the wedding....i think you still have time but you girls should start looking!! have fun :)

I ordered mine in Aug. and I haven't heard anything from my salon about them being in any time soon.
So it has been 4 months and they are still not in plus they need alterations so I would say you should order no later than 6 months before your wedding which would be February so maybe go right after the holidays

I would def begin to look my dresses were ordered in August and are still not in. Then the gorls will need alterations. I would start atleast looking and order by January.. good luck

My dress shop said to order by end of January at the latest. This is not because the dresses take so long but because June/July is their busiest time and it will be hard to squeeze in a lot of fittings.

i was told most dresses take 3-4 months to come in and then youll need time for alterations...my opinion you should stat looking like Jan and order march/april

Yes! Luckily i have tons of pics saved of what i like and what they might like! they already said they love one of the dresses i picked out!

i actually have 1 MOH, 10 BM, 2 jr. BMs and 3 FGs.
So I actually asked all the guys to email me picks of what their idea dress would be. I let them know the final decision is mine but that i'd like input.
i'm glad i did b/c i was looking at strapless gowns and 9 of them said they didnt want strapless. lol
my MOH and FSIL (also a BM) are going to browse on saturday

I have quite a big bridal party 10 BM's, my MOH and 3 FG's... My wedding isn't until September and I already had all my girls go in for deposits and measurements... There going to order the gowns next week... I still have 9 months and I don't think I'm to early....
