BM Dress Shopping tomorrow!

so tomorrow my mom, a few bridesmaids (not all of the girls can make it), and I are going bm dress shopping at Here Comes the Bridesmaid in the city.

im excited but nervous at the same time! I hope we find something everyone likes! I already have a few dresses in mind I want the girls to try to I hope one of those works out!

im so nervous about FSIL...shes VERY opinionated and i feel like shes going to stress me out....i am just gonna have to try to block her out!

Have Fun!!! I would definitely bring the style numbers of dresses you want to see because there are so many, you will be overwhelmed, so you want to make sure you see the ones you have your eye on.

have you been there? I am worried bc i just read a past post about the place and one bride said that they only have samples to try on in sizes 2-4s...2 of my girls are plus sized so i want them to be able to try something on...is that true?

yeah we are doing it early...my Moh (sister) is preggers so we wanna do it before she gets too big!

I just went there last Saturday so my bms could order their dresses! I have to say my first experience there was overwhelming (back in February)....I had some ideas about what dresses I liked from their website (def check it out if you havent) and I dunno if it was because our appointment was later in the day or whatever but it was a madhouse in there and the place is pretty small!!! Since it was so crazy it was hard to get someone to help you out and what not.

However, last Saturday I had an earlier appointment and hardly anyone was there. The sales person was very helpful and everything went smoothly. I also was able to get dress swatches even before they ordered the dresses which was great.

If all your BM's are getting dresses there, they offer amazing discounts! They DO NOT do alterations though. I was told that once the everyone gets measured and puts down their deposit, the order goes out and it takes about 3 months. I went kinda early too cuz two of my BM's are pregnant! Also, 3 of my girls couldn't come so Ihave to wait till they order it which could be awhile. Anyways HTH and if you have any ?s FM me!

ETA: You may want to order the dresses before 2009 ends b/c the prices may go up.
