Lately I am loosing sleep over my bridesmaid dresses. I really like them but my only concern is that the back goes down pretty low. I think that some of my girls are uncomfortable about it because of their weight. Will it be ok or did I totally choose the wrong dress?

Re: BM dress worries
I personally wouldn't want to wear a dress like that because it goes so low in the back... and I'm a size 4. I like to be able to wear a bra (strapless or otherwise).
If your girls are on the bigger side you have the issue of back fat and/or them being uncomfortable in the dresses. If you love the dresses and can't change to something else, pashminas or shawls would probably alleviate a lot of the discomfort.
However, I would say talk to your BMs and see if theres something similar out there.
We can help you find something!

Re: BM dress worries
if you love it than that is what counts.. finding a dress that will look good on EVERYONE is very hard!!!! everyone has different body types and there is only so much you can do to make everyone happy.
maybe talk to her and offer the option of wearing a shawl

Re: BM dress worries
It's a beautiful dress but you want to make sure your girls are comfy! My BM range in size... 0 to 18. I went dress shopping with my best friend, one of the larger girls and had her choose a dress that she liked. We chose one that we both loved! If it looks good on the bigger girls, it will def look good on the smaller ones.

I would speak to them directly about it.... I think it's a beautiful dress but they should be comfortable in it too!

I would ask the girls if they are comfortable. If you are not comfortable then change the dresses. I changed my bridesmaid dresses because I wasnt happy with them. I was hesitant at first because I thought the orders were in but when I called the bridal store the orders had not been completed so it wasnt to late.

Re: BM dress worries
In the end it's '*****************' but I do think you should consider your BMs bodies and comfort level in choosing your dresses too.
My girls said they would wear whatever I picked out but in the end I let them pick something they liked, even if it wasn't exactly what I had in mind. I would have gone with strapless if I decided myself, but all of my girls are thin with small boobs and a few expressed that they feel more comfortable with a small strap. My BM dresses are in my album. Sometimes I wonder if I should have gone with a different style, but in the end I'd rather have them be comfortable and happy.
Edit: LOL!!! they starred out 'Your_day_your_way' haha

i agree with the no bra thing, i think no matter what size, some girls feel more comfortable with a bra on

I think you should definitely talk to them about it. The dress is beautiful but I know I would have a hrd time with that because of the whole bra issue. Talk to them and see what you can work out. But don't stress yourself out over it!

Re: BM dress worries
I like the dresses but considering that I am close in size the your two bridesmaids (I'm a 22/24) I would wear it but with a shawl. It's going to be VERY hard to find a bra for that gown- they're probably going to have to get cups sewn into the gown for support.

Yes unfortunately! As far as the ones they have at davids, at least so much less skin is exposed, thats why I am more comfortable. One of the bigger girls is goin to check it out tonight. I am freaking out too much because they are being so cool and the skinny ones are the one's b*thcing no joke!

I'm having the same problem but not because any of them are overweight--one of my BM is a 40 DD and we are having a hell of a time finding a dress that flatters all of them.
