Has any of you girls had a hard time pleasing you B.M.'s? One wants to wear tea length 2 others want floor length.

yes, in the beginning, but the MOH was the problem- everything is fine now. All girls are wearing floor length gowns.

Re: B.M. Dresses
My MOH was being bratty and wanting a green dress when I wanted blue- but she's my little sister so I just told her to shut up!
My other two girls were good though.

Re: B.M. Dresses
Alright, I just went through a similar experience. I took my bridesmaids out at least 4 times to look at dresses. Each on had their favorites. I was so apprehensive to make a decision because I was trying to please everyone. In the end, I just pleased myself. I tried on the dresses it was between and which one I thought was more comfortable. It was hard but I picked what I wanted. The girls will wear what ever you decide because guess what? They have too. You have to be the one to look at these pictures for the rest of your life. Pick what you want and don't turn back. If you do, you will keep thinking if you made the right decision. Good Luck!

You may be better off just picking the dress yourself. What do you want?

Re: B.M. Dresses
My sisters almost brawled in the bridal salon. Both are used to getting what they want but the older got half the girls to side with her. The younger sister had the MOH on her side. It was bad I have never seen my little sister so mad esp when my mom sided with the older one. I am glad it is over. I plan on giving the MOH and the younger one a little something extra for being more mature and letting the older one get her way.

You should have the final pick and your bm have to deal with it!!! I dont want to come across mean, but in the end they agreed to be in your bp and they have to wear what you want!!!!!

Re: B.M. Dresses
i had a really hard time with everyones style because of the different sizes of my ggirls. i ended up allowing them to choose their own style under the same designer and color but i did make them all wear long dresses. hope this helps a little

Re: B.M. Dresses
ugh i just got off the phone with my sis/moh. My BMs are calling her and trying to coax her into picking a style they would like. They know better than to call me right now. I have too much on my mind to deal with bickering over the dresses.

Re: B.M. Dresses
I went through this in a way you cannot even understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It was impossible!!!! Lesson that I learned is to just pick the one that YOU think is best....and that is it. OR, let everyone wear something different in the same fabric. good luck

Re: B.M. Dresses
I had 2 dresses in mind..well the 1st choice was all theirs and when I went to RK and put the two they liked together I really did not like it..so back to drawing board and I showed them 3 Jim Hjelm dresses I like(and I knew would be flattering on them) and they picked..I picked color..It's hard to appease a bunch of people..good luck

Sorry you're going through this. I understand wanting to allow your bridesmaids to wear what they want, but in the end you should have the final say. GL

Re: B.M. Dresses
It is ultimately what you want..I was lucky all my girls said that to me...one really thin girl wanted chiffon...I only have like three girls who could pull chiffon off...the other four are like me...big boned but they will get over it!

Sweetie-it's your choice-your wedding!!!!!!!!!
My girls didn't have a choice. I found a gown that I loved and told them thats what they were wearing. I had no problems!
What is your vision? Go with that in mind!

Re: B.M. Dresses
WAIT!! You should be the one to make the final choice on what length the dress should be!! Goodness! What is the matter with BMs!!!!!???? If they give their opinion on things, FINE!! But, it's your wedding and you make the final decisions! Sorry for the outburst...

Re: B.M. Dresses
Yes I wanted them to go to David's and find dresses they liked. They didn't. Then I gave them a few (10), they gave David's all the style #'s and David's gave them all the wrong dresses to try on! Finally, I gave up. Went to a bridal shop, tried a lot on myself and narrowed it down to 3. Had them choose from there. I chose one color, then the dress was discontinued so I chose a new dress and a new color (my first choice). It worked out well. Remind yourself...it's you day!
