bm dresses

Okay, so i have time to figure this out, but just been thinking and want your opinions.

I am pretty flexible with my bm's dresses - whatever style they want, even considering different colors that go together, it can be a 'real' bridesmaid dress or regular evening dress, ect. As long as they all look pretty and happy the pictures will be pretty, imo.

but i am not sure how i feel about length.. one bm likes short dresses (i do too) and the other likes gowns- and although i am pretty positive the gown bm will wear a short one - it wasn't my plan to be picky. also when i think about one bm i think -yep short dress is her style and the other girl- floor length is so much more 'her' so how would the pictures look if each girl has a different length dress?

First off...what look are you going for? Do you want uniformity? Ask yourself that first.

Secondly, its not about being picky, butyou have to have some sort of control if you want long or short.

Lets put it this way...fh told all his men that they can wear whatever...so 2 in tails, 2 in kilts and one in white and the other is smart and said are you nuts!!!!

I know you are trying to make things easy, but in the end i think u might be making things a little more difficult for yourself. What do you want. If you want short tell them...i want short dresses and then let them get what they want. No pouting allowed...its not their wedding.

FH and I are having such a screwy theme, and my bm dresses are said to be not formal enough blah blah blah....

what i woudldo is take as many bms as you can and put some in tea and some in long and have them line up for you and see foryourself how u like it.
