So, I have to find BM dresses ASAP!!! My sister (MOH) is studying abroad in Australia and is leaving Feb 14. I'm debating how to go about getting them.
When you got BM dresses, did you go with ALL your girls?? I think it's going to be hard with everyone's schedules. Is it rude to email them a date, and if they cant make it, send them an email of our top two - three dresses and have them vote?
I want everyone to be happy and like the dress.
How did you do this?

Re: BM dresses
To pick one out, I brought my two sisters (MOH's) and FSIL. They narrowed it down to two. Then I sent a picture of the two dresses to the rest of the girls and had them vote. I then had the rest of them come in to try on the one that won the vote, and that's the one we chose!

Ok, sounds like what I want to do. Sounds fair! I just want to make sure no one hates the dress.

Re: BM dresses
I first went with my mother sister and one Bm. Then I emailed the girls and they all showed up, they all came to different stores on 2 different dates!

Re: BM dresses
i knew before i was engaged which dress i was using... so as soon as i got engaged I emailed the dress to everyone to get their opinions... when i went to get my dress... my MOH and Jr BM came with me and tried the dress on and then i told everyone that was the dress and to get it whenever they could... the good thing about DB is that they are really quick

Re: BM dresses
I brought a bunch of girls, but when my sister got married, she just picked them out herself and everyone was fine.
I'm also in a bridal party and didn't get to go dress shopping, but I wasn't offended in any way. After all it's the bride's day, not mine.

Re: BM dresses
I'm thinking of going to David's Bridal. Any other places you recommend? Bridal Reflections seemed to be too much. I don't want them to have to spend a lot of money.

Re: BM dresses
i picked a day and told all 9 girls that they were welcome to come...but only 4 could make it that day (some are also out of town so any day woulda been nearly impossible for them to come)
the 4 girls that came picked a dress and I just told the other girls what they selected.

Re: BM dresses
I had them all look at the designer I picked online and pick a few styles they wanted to try on. Then I brought most of them to the store to try on different styles (I called a few places ahead of time to make sure at least some of the styles they were interested in were there). I was planning on letting them each pick a different style, but they all really liked the same style so they all wound up with the same dress. When we ordered, I brought all the girls with me. HTH!
ETA: I told them I'd be available either day on the weekend and asked them all which day worked best. Most said any day is fine and others said Saturday so we went on a Saturday!

i just brought my sister (moh) and fsil (bm) and they tried on 2348972057204 dresses. when we found two we liked, we found my dress sample and put it up against it to see which looked better with my dress, and that one won! then i told the other 3 girls which dress it was and how to order it

I am doing this too - I picked out a few styles, and set a date for everyone to go together - Feb 6th. Hopefully it will go smoothly!!!
