I live in queens, but I'm getting married at the NRC. I want to start shopping for BM dresses and for my dress, but I have no idea where to go....I know people have posted before, but where would you suggest that's in nassau, queens or even lower westchester?

I got my dress and my BM dresses form Bridal Garden in Bethpage.

I went to Asini Bridal on Queens Blvd. They were really nice there. I didnt get my dress there but I had a very good experience in that shop.
I also went to Valentina's in Brooklyn and LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM, LOVE THEM! My dress is a custom made by the owner and its not expensive. (my budget was 2K and it came in under my budget including alterations and some accessories) The people are extremely nice, polite, patient, caring and very helpful. I tried on my dress 3 times and havent left a deposit and the people were so nice and joined in my happiness. I was even walking around in the dress, sitting, standing, hugging people, waving, dancing, you name it I was doing it in the dress and the people in the store let me do it all and the only thing they said was here let me help you with picking up the dress a little so you dont trip over it. (it was a little long)
I would definatly look into Valentina's in brooklyn.

start at macy's bridal salon (there's one in manhasset) - they have a nice selection - then just note the deisnger or dresses you like and price search elsewhere....thats what we did!!
