BM Dresses

What designer/store did you choose for your bridesmaid dresses?

I am looking for a romantic vintage dress for my girls. We have plenty of time to look, and aren't looking for a few months, but I feel like I haven't seen anything online that I liked.

I want chiffon or some other airy, light fabric, and preferably one shoulder or straps. I haven't decided whether we want long or short yet.

Any suggestions would be helpful!!

we got Bill Levkoff dresses from Bridal Suite of Bay Shore. A lot of stores carry Bill Levkoff and there are some really nice chiffon dresses that are very light and airy! And they don't cost an arm and a leg.

We also did bill levkoff from the Bridal Suite in Centereach. We picked out chiffon as well. I honestly grabbed every strapless chiffon dress I found in the the store hung them up and had my girls just start trying them on. The process took all about 20 minutes, they agreed pretty quickly on one. It was great!

We got ours at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa (AWESOME service) and they are by B2 (part of Jasmine Bridal). We also did chiffon and I looked into the one shoulder but my girls were not having it lol. Pics in my album.

We got dzage from the bill levkoff collection from bridal suite in bayshore I wanted an airy chiffon dress as well and that's exactly what I got!

I got it at Renates in Lindenhurst. I ended up with a designer called DaVinci. I was just looking for something I liked and not really a certain designer.

I've picked dresses from rk bridal from alexia designs. I had a certain price I wanted to stick around and only looked at dresses around that price.

I WORE THIS DRESS ALMOST 3 YEARS AGO FOR MY BEST FRIENDS WEDDING!! lol if it wasn't in fuchsia I would've worn it again. Also where we got it did a TERRIBLE job on the alterations so it was still like 8 inches too long... It was super comfy though!!



This is the one my MOH loved when we went for fun. I'm not picking dresses. I'm telling them 'it has to be long. it has to be black. it has to be chiffon'

I fell in love with my girls dress via picture first. Had them all try it I loved it even more and so did they! It was almost too easy. The color was an issue because the original color I wanted was dced so I had to switch but it ended up better off anyway. (Pics in album) they are satin and from davids bridal. They had a good selection including chiffon! Hth!

That's hysterical! I put my girls in the Sangria, so maybe they could get away with wearing it again. They all commented on how comfortable it was, too. And I love the way it moves!

BM Dresses

I can't say enough about bridesmaids.com. They have all the BM designers at a great price. They are online, but have a shop called 'Here Comes the Bridesmaids' in the fashion district in the city. I went there yesterday and ordered our Dessy Social dresses, which retail for 240, for 165. And I will just go and pick them up, so I didn't even have to pay shipping. They have been really really nice to work with.

I took my girls to Here Comes the Bridesmaids. They got a chiffon dress from Dessy. By far the best prices and they have a huge selection. The dress was around $180 there. I called a lot of places on LI and the dress was $280+ every place else.

I'm also having my BMs in Bill Levkoff dresses! They're going to be long chiffon cranberry dresses, but they get to pick whatever dress they want that fits in the category.

Lazaro dresses (picture in album). Found a store in NJ (no tax) with 15% discount & alterations were capped at $55

Bill Levkoff, Jim Hjelm & Lazaro all have dresses in the style you are looking for.
