I have no idea as to what type or color shoe to ask them to get. I figured black would be easy - but one of the BMs is saying it's going to look terrible - any thoughts!!??
The dress is already 200 so I thought I would be doing them a favor by letting them use a black shoe they already had - considering the dress is floor length... how much of the shoe would anyone really see?
Well maybe since the dress has the ivory accents you can have them get ivory shoes? I am having BM dresses that have a white sash and to save them money I told them to buy white shoes because I thought it would be a pretty contrast

I think black shoes would look perfectly fine and you will hardly see them anyway.

I personally would not do black. I don't think it'd go at all. JMO Why don't you have them buy white dyeable shoes. This way they can pick the shoes they feel most comfortable in and have it dyed to the exact color of the dress (I would go with red like the picture). I think black would look too harsh w/ the dress. I'd go w/ a dyed-to-match shoe.
