BM Dresses Finally Picked!
hi Ladies!
So, this past weekend I brought Mom to look at the BM dresses that two of my girls and I decided that we really really liked. I absolutely fell in love with a Melissa Sweet BM dress, and so did 2 of my girls. It looked absolutely stunning on them, and they both loved the material and how comfortable the dress was. 3 of my other BMs, who are all out of town, all loved the style of the dress also. However, even though I loved the dress, I originally wanted an eggplant colored BM dress. The dress was only offered in a brighter plum color....and, we also decided that we liked an olive color that the dress was offered in. The olive idea was slightly growing on me, and I knew each of the girls could wear that color because of their complexions, but, it still wasn't sitting right with me because I didn't feel it was an appropriate color for a May wedding, and the girls would get lost in pictures if they were on the lawn or against any sort of plant. So, now, I wanted to bring Mom to get her advice. Turns out, she LOVES the style of the dress, and talked me back in to the purple. My colors are going to be white, purple and green - so hence why the dress color was going to be a toss up between the purple and the olive. I also think the purple looks better in pictures. Anywho - here is the website for the dress, and I am also uploading pics of the dress to my album. It's the style of the red dress, in the color of the purple dress (the olive color is next to it as well). Let me know what you ladies think - I appreciate all your input!!
