Can you have sleeves, or capped sleeves added to a strapless bridesmaids dress at Davids or do they only add sleeves to wedding gowns?

i'm not 100% sure but i would assume they could add sleeves to anything .... but i would also assume they'd jack up the price. they charged my BMs A LOT for simple alterations

For a friend's wedding in 2008 she had them add sleeves to her MOHs dress. I was in the BP and they used the extra material from my dress to make the sleeves. I'm not sure if this was because they couldn't buy the fabric or if it was just cheaper that way.

I just called DAVIDS and they weer so freakin RUDE!
They do not add sleeves at all to any bm's dresses! grrr

the dress we used came with a shawl, and you can wrap it around your shoulders like a shrug.
They also, depending on the color, have jackets you can buy.
This is what my BM's did
and the dress normally

Thats so weird! the Davids here in Chicago told me that they would add sleeves but that i would have to purchase a shall in the same color of the dress in order to provide the extra fabric.
Maybe you can buy the matching shall and take it to another seamstress to get the sleeves added on.

I have had alot of trouble with DB but their prices and selection are really good, so just call up customer service and speak with them and they can get anything done for you especially if they were rude.
