BM dresses help

I just changed my mind about my BM dresses because I fell in love with this Bill Levkoff dress. The girls tried it on in the colors you are seeing it in, but I had my heart set on a pale yellow for my BM color. It comes in a color called Maize (a VERY pastel yellow - not creamy like the Lazaro color Maize). Do you think this dress would look good in that color or should I order it in the ones that you see (Champagne/Taupe)???? If you think the Maize, what color sash OR should I leave it solid??? I'm soooo confused! HELP!

My friend chose one of his dresses in the champagne with a white ribbon, which was very pretty, but in pics they looked almost white next to her. The maize color sounds beautiful, and I'm sure you'll find gorgeous flowers to go w/ it. But if you go w/ this color, I'd get either chocolate for the sash or the one shown. And if you get the maize, maybe white? Do they show any other colors you like for the sash?

I think the champagne might be a little too close to white...just my opinion -I think the dress in beautiful though...
If you get it in maize then I think a white sash would look best

can you go see if there is another dress of his in maize? And hold it next to that dress to compare? Thats how i chose my dress color

Well I may be biased because these are the dresses I'm using in the champagne/taupe (the color in the picture). Go see it in person - the champagne isn't quite as light as the pictures make it out to be.

I saw it for $195 w/out tax and alterations

This is the dress we got for my friends wedding. Its a Bill Levkoff and there are so many bridal salons that sell that designer. We got ours from Bridal Reflections. We also saw it at Adrienne's in Islip and Bridal Suite of Bayshore. They always seem to carry the champagne color in the store. The BMs are getting solid red and I am (MOH) getting red with white sash. It is a beautiful dress!

Have the girls try on any Bill Levkoff dress in that color and see if you like it. Good luck.

I noticed that you are a June bride like me!
My girls tried that dress on, but thought it was too heavy for a summer wedding. I love levkoff, but i have to be honest, I wore one of his gowns as a BM this past June, and I was sweating in it. The dress was made from polyester, which i dont think is a good choice for a summer wedding. Maybe for winter it would be a better choice. I went with a Chiffon material from Jim Helm for my BM's and they were so much happier.
I just wanted to share this with you. If you are set on the dress, i love the color that is shown in the picture, that is what my girls tried on. :) Good luck
