BM dresses knocked out the box!

so on Saturday my BP came over to have the pattern fitted for their dresses (they are being custom made)

I wanted the dress to be strapless and have a matching jacket that hits exactly where the dress ends, so that it kind of looks like one piece, and the front to be cut so it is open at the bustline but closes high on the neck. I am trying to replicate the costume design from Shakespeare in Love...I wish I could find a pic!

I 'drew' the dress(though I have absolutely NO skills) and described it for my friend, and she NAILED it spot on. I couldn't believe it...but just from the pattern material, I could tell how perfectly done it was. I am so happy and am now practically foaming at the mouth for them to be completed.

it can be a pain, but I LOVE custom dresses!

on another note, the candelabras that we decided to use for our cps are discontinued, and we may have to choose another one if I can't find 5 betw. Sears & BB&B. that's what I get for waiting so long...

LOL...that's hysterical that the name of the CP is 'Jessica'

it is very similar. luckily the same mfr. of the first candlestick we liked makes a similar one that is not too far off the mark. we'll see what happens. I can't let these things bother me.
