BM DRESSES - NOW WITH PICS

I KNOW I KEEP POSITNG ABOUT BM DRESSES - BUT I REALLY NEED SOME HELP - I HAVE A BM THAT IS HEAVY - I AM HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING A DRESS THAT I LIKE AND THAT SHE LIKES -

EDITED TO ADD PICS OR SOME CHOICES...

Its your wedding, so put your foot down and tell her which dress you want. Have you tried looking at the bari jay dresses. Im pretty sire it barijay.com Their dresses go up to size 44. Good luck!!

have her try both on and then make a decision... she may have a point, and once you see her in the dress you may not like it on her as well. then again, she could be mistaken and look fantastic in the dress you like.

i am not one to say 'my way or no way', i want my girls to feel comfortable and look stunning as well... luckily mine all were flexible and one even went so far to say 'i'll show up in a clown suit if you want '

#2 is probably more flattering for a 'heavier' lady since it's an empire waist....is she a BM or a MOH? Could you give ALL your girls the option of the 2 dresses and that way you'll have maybe 1/2 in one dress and 1/2 in another? My theory is that if they are uncomfortable, they will be miserable all day and they'll give off that vibe.....good luck...

this is YOUR day, remind her of that. tell her you want her to be in this and it is important to you that she is comfortable, but that she looks beautiful in dress #1 b/c I am sure she does..........tell her you'd really appreciate it if she would give it another chance, try it on again and reconsider

I agree. Have you seen them on her? I agree that the first dress is prettier in the picture but maybe the second one looks better on her body type.

This might not be much help but, I understand this is your wedding and I agree that you should pick the dress you want and not settle. Here is my opinion on the dress though...... I picked that second dress,(or something VERY similar), for my girls because I think that it is flattering for all the different sizes I have. The dress is really nice in person and on, and to ME, (IMO), didnt look like a prom dress at all.....but of course I'm partial! :)

I personally prefer #1, I think it's very elegant. Has she even tried either dress on? That would really be the deciding factor. I'm sure you wouldn't want her to look unflattering, so see how they both look and then make a decision.

IMO I also like the first dress better, but the second one seems like it would fit a heavier girl better. Maybe she could pick a dress that will fit the same, but a BM dress instead of a prom dress.
