Please post your bm dresses prices...Mine are $280 ... I'm afraid its too much for them to have to pay.... What do you guys think?

I think anything over $200 is a lot. It also depends on the financial position of your girls. If you really love the dresses, I would ask them for $200 and pay the difference yourself. This is just my opinion. I think mine were about $180?

Mine were about the same. For one of my BM, who wasn't working, I offered to pay for part of the dress if she needed.

I think $280 is alot, but it all depends on your BM's and what their situation is like. Mine were $118 w/o alterations.

I beleive my bm dresses were $220 with alterations. If the girls don't need any alterations then they will get that money back.

mine were $152 dollars. $70 cap on alterations (not included), but most of my girls are taking their dresses to a seamstress because it's much cheaper!

IMHO... i think $280 is way too much. I hate being in weddings because they're so expensive these days. In the past 4 weddings i've been in... spending anywhere from $175-300 on the BM dress... they've all gone in the dumpster. Not one of them i could wear again and thats a lot of money being thrown away.

$280 is A LOT! I couldn't ask my girls to pay that much for their dresses. I'm going to try to keep it around 150.....I know that when people agree to be ina wedding they know they'll have a lot of expenses, but $280 just for a dress is too much to ask in my opinion... XOXOXOXO Kitty

our list price was $260 in bridal shop i could get it for $235 From pearlsplace.com - $140 - ordered online girls got alterations fromt here moms or local places

Mine were $305 plus $75 alterations - but i paid $25 of the dress which was for adding straps since some of the girls didnt want them and others did - and i wanted them uniform

mine are 130 not including alterations.
imo, 280 (with alterations and without) is a lot to ask bms to pay for their dresses

$280 is pretty high. I think my dresses were about $150.
