Hey guys!!! I am a little confused about BM Dresses, few wedding I've been to and I was in bridal parties, the brides purchases dresses, to one of the bridal parties, a bride made us pay. What do you guys think? I want to buy my BM dresses

Ohhh I didn't know that... I am still thinking to pay for my MB dresses, cause I am choosing the style I want.

ita up to you and your budget... i would like to pay, but def cant so im paying for hair and makeup the day of......most bm's end up paying for the dress
they pay, we are proably buying his sisters for her since she lives out of state and she'll pay us back when she can...

Same here. I would love to pay for my BM's dresses, but I have 8 girls (including my 2 MOH's) and certainly can't spare the money. I will probably pay for their hair and makeup though.

i dont know.. i also feel bad making them pay.... but some1 said something to me... that made sense..
they shouldnt mind paying for their dresses. its an honor to be a bm. if they are ur true friend, they wouldnt even think twice.

They pay...that's part of the price of being a BM. You can pay if you can afford. You could also pay for hair or makeup. I paid for the rush charge on my BM's dresses. It was necessary to rush them but I waited to go shopping and wanted the extra time to eliminate any anxiety on my part so I paid the rush fee. Your choice. Don't feel bad. You have plenty of time right now and you can shop around for cheaper prices on dresses including ordering online.

They pay, and i wouldnt feel bad bc for their weddings they did the same or will do the same.
SOME brides yes will pay but they will do that as their gift to them, or pay for hair and make up as a gift to them which is your choice. BUT remember that the brides whose bm's pay for their own dresses, they do buy their bm's a gift so they still do something for them. I had something in mind i wanted to get them so they did pay for their dresses, but i went to RK bridal and got them $80-90 off the price for each dress. I also let them do whatever they wanted as far as hair and make, or shoes too and jewelry. But i bought them coach purses as a gift. However, for MOH she got a purse and also paid for her hair and make up.
I wouldnt feel bad bc that is what comes along with being a BM.

i've never known of a bride to pay for the bm's dresses...the bride has to shell out enough money as it is..
